Cobb and Douglas Public Health improved program efficiencies and increased their success rate in finding patients to 87% with LexisNexis® Accurint® for Government.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported 2 million Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) were recorded in 2016.1 Southern states including Georgia have taken the brunt of the rate explosion. With these statistics, Public Health agencies can’t afford to encounter roadblocks to identify infected patients and educate their connections.

Cobb and Douglas Public Health (CDPH) had difficulties finding patients with STDs or infectious diseases with a 7-person team covering just under 1 million in population. CDPH implemented LexisNexis® Accurint® for Government to improve their reaction time to find these infected patients, notify their connections and prevent further spread of these diseases across their population.

In just two months, CDPH reached an 87% success rate in finding the correct information to contact infectious patients, with an average of 30 cases per month.

Accurint® for Government allows customers to access robust data sets and tools making it easier to efficiently pinpoint identities and relationships, and gain comprehensive insight into their investigations workflow.
